This Chip Collection Adapter complements the Stanley and Beast chipper shredders to provide easy clean-up and disposal of debris. The adapter connects the discharge chute to a variety of trash containers (max 32 gal.). The adapter directs debris into the trash container to avoid extra handling and mess, a great time savings. This may be beneficial to those with allergies with the reduction in airborne debris (trash containers not included). Made from durable reinforced nylon. Fits for DEK brush master models CH6, CH8. No tools are required for use.

This adapter worked perfectly when shredding leaves with the DEK chipper shredder making it possible to direct the shredded leaves into a 30 gallon trash can with trash can liner with little mess. Without this accessory, it would not have been possible to contain the expelled leaves in the trash can.

The adapter worked great for shredding the leaves. It easily attached to the chipper and the trash can and stayed attached for the process. It also was easily removed so the can could be emptied.

I wish the intake was centered for my needs, but I understand why it is off center. It works as advertised. One caveat, you need to probably use a garbage can that has no handles so that the collection cover leaves no gaps for debris to escape.
