Chipper works better than I thought it would. Assembly is s little tough if you have big hands.
Works well, shaft for the limbs is a little long so twisted or bent branches are hard to feed but overall cuts down branches quick and self feeds well, easy start with a firm pull.
So far it's very good, discharge shoot has a hole blown into from the leaves, with the up direction in the discharge when I clug it up with leaves that are wet I have to take it part to clean out. The high discharge is need but you are on that side at startup
I bought the Brush Master CH11, made by GXI. Have had fairly good luck with it. Starts easy by hand or if needed you can use the electric start. I wouldn't recommend putting 5" limbs slightly smaller ones with the double blade design chips easy and branches feed themselves. The chute can be adjusted to different angles. I would recommend this to a friend.
My product arrived damaged. The air filter housing (E01911) was destroyed. I've been trying to order the replacement part, with no luck! CSR Katrina at GXI OUTDOOR POWER has been very, very helpful. Can that part be ordered through your company?
Starts 1st pull every time, and chews up, 3" dia limbs green or dry, with ease.Location of oil filler makes oil checking and filling difficult, a block of wood and removing a wheel solved that.Otherwise, very happy with the unit.
I am a little disappointed in the machine design. It is a little difficult to move around for one thing. The last machine I bought, I was able to attach to my lawn tractor and move from point to point. This one must be loaded onto a trailer or dragged around by hand. Also the brush shoot is difficult to feed due to the door configuration design. In the event of a clog, Which I have not experienced yet, to clear it will be a major project it appears. My last brush master was designed to make it much more simple. I am sorry I went with this design with this perches, and should have gone with the same design I purchased last time. The reason I went with the machine I purchased this time was solely the sale price, not the design. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with the same machine I bought last time knowing what I know now. Functionally the new brush master machine is a very poor user design.
