Product was easy to assemble. The chipping section is more lightly built than I was expecting - time will tell if that is an issue or not. The sheet metal outlet chute is very difficult to use and not really necessary. The engine starts on the first or second pull, every time. The machine chips nicely, making a fine product. The 1/4" thick, single blade is well matched to the engine. The engine boggs a little under maximum load, green 3" limb, but does not get stuck and recovers quickly. Short, thick foot long sticks don't self feed very well, but they do not get stuck and push through with the next stick. The shredder works exceptionally well, quickly turning leaves and small brush into fine shreds. I've used this for about 6 hours now and have chipped or shredded the past winters debris.

Works good
picked this up on special for $750 and so far very happy. I like the opening hole on the front of the feed shute. if the branch fits it will chip it no problem. well powered for it's stated capacity of 3". also nice that it has basic things you really need like a fuel cutoff to drain the carb. So many consumer level small engine appliances lack such basic things that they should really have. the belt drive is great will never do a direct drive chipper again. only giving 4 stars because still in its first season so not sure how it will hold up. So far so good!

It performs as was advertised. It starts easy, usually the first pull. I've used it about 4 times and it's 10 times better than my previous chipper shredder. I don't have any problem moving it around the yard by hand. I was a little leary about a 3" limb, but it chipped it up like it was nothing, and it fed itself as advertised. No regrets with this purchase, except not getting it sooner.

It’s powerful and does an amazing job. I just wish the exit chute was designed to sit higher so as to better enable collection of the wood chips. The bag is rather superfluous given the low chute design, it’s ineffective. Overall it’s a good chipper.

Have used the chipper for 20 hours of run time. Works great. You have to feed leaves and brush in slowly and sometimes help it to fall, but that's to be expected with bundles of small twigs and such. Makes short work of 3in branches.

Easy to assemble, easy to operate. Not sure of the long term quality. I have only had it a few months and had an issue with the clutch that wasn't covered under the warranty. Time will tell if it is the workhorse I am looking for to help me keep up seven acres.
