It's a heavy machine. Defenetly heavy duty. it starts in one pull. But I have not tried it in snow yet. I bought the 36 inch. It has single tires even the picture showed dual tires. I'm looking forward to the first snow storm.
This past winter was my first time using and at first I was skeptical after having a problem the belt. I called the manufacturer and they tried to help me get the belt on securely, but I really don't know what I'm doing. The snow blower specialist Barb suggested a mechanics shop to look at it.
I read the manual and I was not happy about having to pay for the belt and paying to get it to the mechanics shop. When my snow blower was returned to me I'm expecting to have to write a check to the delivery guy, and I was told not only did the manufacturer cover the repair they also covered the parts and transporting fee!
I did not have to write a check at all!
I definitely need to give this company an outstanding performance accreditation.
The customer service was on point, repetitive on contact until my product was back and working, helpful with my questions and concerns, and I felt that customer service made my experience feel personal and important.
Had this beast for a few years now and this is the first time I have had to change a part other then the belt and rubber. I couldn't replace the part myself so I called the manufacturer of the beast and thy did send me instructions but I'm not that mechanically inclined so I was given a recommended location to have them replace it for me.
Customer service was quick to help even though I was not in my coverage period .
Thank you Barbara for being very prompt with assistance.

At first when I got the blower my husband could not get it to move. I called the number in the manual for customer service. I spoke with a customer service person who explained that sometimes because of being relocated by the shipping trucks adjustments may need to be made. I could see that happening
The same day I was given instructions on how to fix it and a repair shop to send it to if it did not work. I didnt even need to call gxi back they called me the next day to see if I was able to correct the problem. So customer service is another A+ thank you Barbra for your urgency with my problem and my blower works perfectly!

The snow beast was a little bit too big for us. We are older and it was very difficult to handle. For a younger person it might be just the thing.
Reside in Connecticut and have used the snow beast 36 for 3 snow storms. First let me tell all buyers that when your machine arrives, tighten all nuts/bolts and loctite them. This is a heavy duty commercial snowblower and the 15 hp engine is a power house that could vibrate any loose parts. It’s just common sense. Also remember that some adjustments for the drive train and auger will need to be performed if you set up your machine in 75 degree temperatures and then use in sub zero temperatures....metal and cables shrink and expand. I have not had to use electric start because it starts every time with 1 pull!
It handled a 10 inch snow fall with ease, the headlight is superior and it cut my time in half. My prior blower was a craftsman 12 horse 30 inch that struggled. Not the beast.
The only complaint is this machine is super heavy and will work you.
The is really well named. This is a "Beast". I live in Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan and get a lot of lake effect snow. This handled the 2 feet of snow we received during one snow storm easily. It threw the snow at least 50 feet. I have used it on light fluffy snow as well as the heavy wet snow. It handled it all without any trouble. I would highly recommend this snow thrower to anyone.
Great Snow Blower, Starts Right Up, Runs Great, Smooth, and blows the snow probably 40 or 50 feet (when there is no wind, HAHA)
